The ZWN-RSM1 is installed and "hidden" behind an ON/OFF switch to enable the load (light / fan) to be wirelessly turned ON/OFF from the Z-Wave app on your mobile device from any distance. This ZWN-RSM1 module has Z-Wave plus chipset and is fully compatible with any Z-Wave enabled network. The ZWN-RSM1 Relay Module is a component of a lighting control system. It can be used separately or wired to an existing light switch. In a Z-Wave network, each device is designed to act as a wireless repeater, it will retransmit the RF signal from one device to another until the intended device is reached. This ensures that the signal is received by its intended destination by routing the signal around obstacles and radio dead spots. A Z-Wave hub is required to control this device.
