It prevents epoxy runoff in vertical and overhead joints. This is a very strong filler. It creates a smooth mixture, ideal for general epoxy bonding and filleting. It is also our most versatile epoxy filler. Often used in combination with other fillers, 406 can be used to improve strength, abrasion resistance, and consistency of epoxy fairing compounds. The result is a tougher, smoother surface.
- CONVENIENT EPOXY BUNDLE contains one can of WEST SYSTEM 105-A Resin (32 fl oz), WEST SYSTEM 207-SB Extra Clear Hardener (10.6 fl oz), and one set of calibrated 300 Mini Pumps with a dispense ratio of 3:1 for accurate mixing.
- 1105 EPOXY RESIN wets out without fisheyeing and bonds well with wood, fiberglass, fabrics and metals with a viscosity of approximately 1000 centipoise at 72°F (22°C).
- 207 SPECIAL CLEAR HARDENER blended with 105 Resin, provides a water-clear, moisture resistant finish that will not blush or turn cloudy in humid conditions.
- CURES AT 72°F (22°C) with a pot life of 20-26 minutes, to maximum strength in 4-7 days.
- SUITABLE FOR COATING OR BONDING projects like fiberglass boat repair, strip kayak and canoe construction when modified with WEST SYSTEM fillers, pigments and additives.
