This is a faithful reproduction of the rare 1942 WWII model.
The fabric uses the original 6.7 x 6.6 count denim specially developed for this model.
The thread count has been reproduced by analyzing vintage WWII models.
The thick, uneven WWII denim features pink selvedge, as if the red ear of vintage WWII fabric has oxidized.
This model allows you to enjoy the distinctive fading of the WWII model, with its intense contrast.
It features a button fly, just like the vintage originals.
Regular jeans have five buttons, but this model follows the vintage style with four buttons on all sizes.
The top button is a steel tack button that reproduces the dull look of deadstock buttons over time.
The utmost attention to detail is paid to the copper plating on the iron to prevent the male side of the button from oxidizing.
