VS-32 Maulers Sea Control Squadron USN Navy Wives Award Bowl. This is a Paul Revere 1768 Reproduction by Fisher marked as silver electroplated on copper, see bottom image. Measures approximately 5" wide and 2 3/4" tall. Bowl is engraved "Wives of VS-32". I believe this was an award or recognition for a wife's club or family support group of the squadron during deployment. The style of the engraving and age of bowl leads me to believe this would be of an earlier age, during the 1950's or possibly 1960's.
VS-32 Squadron was active from 1949 through 2008 and started as an anti-submarine unit, deploying for sea service on various ships and flying different planes throughout its history. You can see this piece has some nice patina. I have lightly cleaned it to show the maker's mark and to clearly show the engraving. I see no major flaws or dents and it is condition is consistent with its age. Happy to answer any questions. Price includes USPS Priority Mail Shipping.
