This is Vintage 1981 Edition Milton Bradley Battleship strategy battle game. Game includes red/white game pegs, battle stations and fleet. Game instructions are printed on the inside of the box. For ages 8 to adult, for 2 players
Each player deploys his ships (of lengths varying from 2 to 5 squares) secretly on a square grid. Then each player shoots at the other's grid by calling a location. The defender responds by "Hit!" or "Miss!". You try to deduce where the enemy ships are and sink them. First to do so wins.
CONDITION: Game in Very Good vintage condition, Clean, we played it one time. We just recently opened the packages the pegs were in. Box has storage wear.
