This curve is one of the most distinctive poses to show off the wading aquatic insects and is also the image of Shrimp and Cadis Rapa. Thin and light 2487, the 2457 stubborn yet delicate 2457, both highlight the nature of the flies. Both are great for large dry flies due to the extended body. TMC discontinued the offset of 2487/2457. It is primarily used for emergers and soft hackles to handle the problem of tilting flies in the water, but it also has the advantage of tying easily. The overall shape of the eye angle has been re-adjusted, which results in a better hook/holding performance. The curved, fine-wire hook design is especially effective for shrimp, caddis pupae and other emerger imitations. This model is 2X short and 2X wide with the round gape for secure hooking on large fish.
