The Rolling (R) Stones – Pencil Drawing – by Peter Jurik (Canvas, 40x60-1 ½)

~ Peter was hired by CBS Records Vancouver to do this drawing for an art promotion for CBC TV.

• True story – one of Peter’s Stones art prints was bought by the owner of a local music store. The owner had it hanging in his office, inside the store. The store was broken into & thieves took the Stones print, leaving behind other artwork, including a Warhol - Monroe.

• Musical scores of some of her hit songs swirl around her, such as “Rehab” & “Back to Black”.
• Amy’s hit album was “Back to Black”, so black, literally, is at her back.
• The drawing style is raspy, to complement Amy’s edgy style.
• A BEAUFITUL drawing of a BELOVED SINGER/SONGWRITER & one who left us too soon.
