This is from the 2016 reunion tour, so it's still relatively new to be considered vintage, but it's not available in Japan and is no longer easily obtainable, so I'm offering it here as the next vintage item.

Temple of the Dog was formed in 1990 at the call of Chris Cornell of Soundgarden as a tribute band to Andy Wood, the charismatic frontman of Mother Love Bone.

Soundgarden had just released their 2nd album, Louder than Love, but the songwriting for Temple of the Dog is thought to have contributed to the transformation from the underground, muddy sound of Louder than Love to the refined musicality of Badmotorfinger.
Also, Jeff Ament on bass and Stone Gossard on guitar, members of MLB, formed Pearl Jam as a result of this.

Chris and Andy were roommates, and he seemed to have a special feeling for this project, and he repeated reunion lives several times between the busy schedules of Soundgarden and Pearl Jam.
As a tour, this 2016 US tour was the first one. And, as a result, it was the last tour.

The time with old friends from the same hometown may have been an important place for him to return to his former self before he became a successful musician.
