Description: Easy Smart 16-Port Gigabit Switch with 8 PoE+ Ports 16× 10/100/1000Mbps RJ45 Ports. Equipped with 8× PoE+ compatible ports to transfer data and power over a single cable. With total PoE power capacity of 150W* (up to 30W per port). Works with IEEE 802.3af/at compatible devices. Automatic PoE Recovery. Network setup with Plug and Play connectivity. Online user interface and management utility simplify setup. What this product does: The TL-SG1016PE is a 16-port rack/desktop mountable Gigabit switch with 8 ports supporting the PoE+ standard. It provides a simple way to expand a wired network by transferring power and data through a single Ethernet cable. With a total power capacity of 150W*, up to 30W per port, the TL-SG1016PE powers more high-power devices, Such as Access Points (APs), IP Cameras, or IP Phones. In addition, with innovative energy efficiency technology, TL-SG1016PE saves power consumption, making it an environmentally friendly solution for your business network. Overload Management: The TL-SG1016PE has a priority function that helps protect the system when its power is overcharged. If the power consumption of all PoE+ devices is greater than or equal to 150W, a priority will be arranged between the 8 PoE+ ports. System management will cut off power from the lowest priority ports ensuring quality and stability for your network. Port Priority Function: Priority (by order of ports 1 > port 2 > port 3 > port 4 > port 5 > port 6 > port 7 > port 8): This function will help protect the system if the system power gets overcharged. For example, if ports 1, 2, 3, 4, and 6 are using 30W (maximum power per port) the PoE max LED will turn green as all PoE PDs are feeding on maximum consumption >= 150W. If there is an additional PD inserted into port 5 with 20W, then the system will cut out port 6 to protect the system. This means the system will be prioritizing ports 1, 2, 3, and 4, which will use 120W, and port 5, which will use 20W, and no power will be provided to Port 6.
