SUGARHILL Sugarhill Classic Denim Size 32

I purchased size 32 online, but it's a bit too small for me. I only tried it on once and haven't worn it outside!

This is a classic denim pant from SUGARHILL [Sugarhill].

This piece is regularly released by the brand and enjoys high popularity. It's a classic denim pant with an iconic wine glass-shaped pocket placed on the hip and coin pocket, and a beautiful wide silhouette that catches the eye. It's a masterpiece that inherits the details of workwear while being upgraded in a modern way.

The upper back and front feature a cinch back detail. The hip pocket has a hidden clasp with rivet specifications. The belt loops are integrated into the waist belt, the laurel button pierces the front fly, and the sides are red selvedge. It's made with SUGARHILL's original denim fabric from Nihonmenpu, a leading manufacturer based in Ibara City, Okayama. (14.5oz selvedge denim) It's raw denim and has not been washed at all. You can enjoy the unique aging process.

What is a laurel button?

A button with a laurel pattern. During World War II, the United States recommended using the same buttons as military clothing due to shortages of materials and funds (brands were unable to use their own original buttons). This is the background of jeans brands using buttons that were used on military uniforms and military wear. The laurel button was used on jeans manufactured around that time.

What is a cinch back?

In the 1910s, belt loops were not yet a concept, and suspenders were the mainstream. This part symbolizes the workwear era where the waist was adjusted with suspenders + cinch back. Since then, it has been adopted as a classic design, not for the fit of the waist but for its classic design.
