Made from Padauk, a representative hardwood from Africa. Most people who see Padauk for the first time think it's been colored. It's characterized by a vibrant vermillion to maroon color, with some parts even displaying a gradient.
This is a set of two pieces with two holes each. One is vermillion, and the other includes maroon and sapwood. Padauk is famous for having the most distinct contrast between heartwood and sapwood of all tree species.
No paint is used.
The wood pieces are approximately 27mm x 49mm x 56mm.
The holes are 17mm in diameter and 40mm deep. They can accommodate Shachihata stamps.
Besides stamps, you can use them for pens, keys, or place them on your desk, in the entryway, or on a counter. We think it would be great as a stand for your delivery stamp and ballpoint pen in the entryway.
