The ST25TB02K is a wireless memory device, powered by an external radio signal. It features a 2048-bit user EEPROM, organized into 64 blocks of 32 bits each. The device operates on a 13.56 MHz carrier frequency. Incoming data is demodulated and decoded from the received amplitude shift keying (ASK) signal, while outgoing data is generated via bit phase shift keying (BPSK) coding of an 847 kHz sub-carrier. The received ASK wave is 10% modulated. The data transfer rate between the ST25TB02K and the reader is 106 kbit/s in both reception and emission modes.
