Old Japanese Pottery Water Bucket
Has the Ogata Kenzan Mark - Believe this piece to be based on his designs.
Unfortunately, we know very little about this piece. It was purchased from a collector's estate who lived for an extended period in Kyoto, Japan. Since we cannot find another example of this exact water bucket, we are unable to date it. It does have the extensive crazing and slight discoloration that is to be expected in the iron oxide underglaze used in these Kenzan design pottery pieces.

Good Condition. No chips or cracks. Does have the signature crazing with some darkening of glaze commensurate with its age.
