The Use Case Explorer employs QID records and DSM event-mapping data to assist in assessing rule coverage based on log source types. It loads automatically, but you can refresh its settings whenever you wish.
- Access QRadar Use Case Manager Configuration: Click Admin tab > QRadar Use Case Manager > Configuration
- Synchronize with QRadar Data: Click Sync QID Records, process may take up to 30 minutes
- Refresh Event Mappings: Click Sync DSM event mappings
- Initial Sync: App automatically syncs upon first installation
- Upgrade Notice: Upon upgrading to 3.1.0 or later, check for 'Report on migration from MITRE v6.3 to v8.x' section
- Remove Migration Report: After noting affected mappings, click 'Clear migration report'
- Migration Notification Visibility: Non-administrative users can view report migration notification on Use Case Explorer page
