If you are fed up with replacing your fire extinguishers, this sturdy self-contained device is the answer. Proven highly effective in helping stop theft, misuse or vandalism of fire extinguishers. Leaves extinguisher accessible for emergencies without interferring with fire fighting in any way. If the protected fire extinguisher is moved from its normal position, the device emits a piercing 105 dB alarm. Highly visible stop sign design coupled with the words "STOP - EMERGENCY USE ONLY" discourages wrongful use. Deactivation cable is supplied for ease in servicing the extinguisher. Mounts easily next to fire extinguisher. Housing unit is super tough UV-stabilized molded polycarbonate. Compact patented design 5" in diameter and 1.875" deep. 9 VDC alkaline battery is included. 3 Yr. guarantee against breakage of normal use, 1 year on electronics. Recommended operating range 32°F to 113°F (0°C to 45°C). ***Remote powered 12 VDC model is available for special applications: search under STI model 6200R***.
