It's used in annular spaces around wires, pipes, ducts, and other penetrations at ceiling and floor openings, and room to room in wood and steel frame constructions. It restores fireblock integrity in one and two-family constructions, exceeding ASTM-E136 standards and meeting or exceeding requirements of major building codes. It's available in a 10 oz size and is colored red.
