The Palermo is derived from "Palermo," the name of a city in northwestern Sicily, Italy, and is a masterpiece model representing the terrace style of the 1980s. Originally, it was one of Puma's special shoes that paid homage to famous European capitals such as London and Oslo, and it became a standard model for spectators gathering in soccer stadiums at the time. Like the original, it features the Puma Cat logo on the heel, a gold signature tag, a T-shaped structure on the toe, and a classic gum sole. This version features a leather base with suede Formstrip and overlays.

Palermo Collection
Puma's terrace style sneaker collection features retro designs inspired by the terrace culture of the late 70s and 80s. It embodies a simple, smart, and classic terrace style. The Palermo is a model from 1981 to 1982, and its design evokes an Italian vacation as an homage to Palermo, the capital of Sicily. The original Palermo sneakers feature a nylon mesh upper, suede overlays, a gum sole, and a signature tag with gold lettering, paying respect to major European cities such as London and Oslo.
