A Gewinde-Grenzlehrdorn is a blend of a Gutlehrdorn and an Ausschusslehrdorn. The Ausschuss side of the Gewindelehrdorn bears a red ring. The Gut side of the Gewindelehrdorn should screw into the cut thread of a workpiece by hand without extra force. If it doesn't, the thread doesn't meet the desired standards (Ausschuss). The Ausschuss side of the Gewindelehrdorn can screw into the cut thread by hand without extra force up to two turns. If it screws in further, the thread doesn't meet the desired standards (Ausschuss). The reference temperature for the workpieces and gauges is 20° Celsius. Upon request, VÖLKEL can provide a Werkskalibrierschein. The calibration is done in a lab independent of VÖLKEL's production, following the specified guidelines and norms (DIN, ISO, ANSI) on IAC-Gewindescannern.
