The thread gauge ring must screw onto the thread of the work piece manually, without excessive force, along its entire length. If this is not possible, the thread does not meet the required standards (defective). The reference temperature for the work pieces and gauges is 20°C. Upon request, VÖLKEL can provide a factory calibration certificate (price on inquiry). Calibration is performed in an independent testing laboratory according to the specified standards (DIN, ISO, ANSI) on IAC thread scanners.

• Manual Threading Test: The Gewindelehrring should screw onto the work piece's thread smoothly by hand, without excessive force
• Thread Quality Check: If the Gewindelehrring cannot be screwed onto the thread, the thread does not meet the required standards (rejected)
• Reference Temperature: The work pieces and gauges are calibrated at a reference temperature of 20°C
• Certification on Request: VÖLKEL, as the manufacturer, can provide a factory calibration certificate upon request (price available on inquiry)
• Independent Calibration: The calibration is performed in a lab independent of VÖLKEL's production, following the specified standards (DIN, ISO, ANSI) for the respective test item
