The thread gauge ring must screw onto the thread of the work piece by hand, without excessive force, over its entire length. If this is not possible, the thread does not meet the required standards (defective). The reference temperature for the work pieces and gauges is 20°C. Upon request, VÖLKEL can provide a factory calibration certificate (price on inquiry). Calibration is performed in an independent testing laboratory according to the specified standards (DIN, ISO, ANSI) on IAC thread scanners.

• Manual Threading Test: The Gewindelehrring should screw onto the Werkstück's thread smoothly by hand, without excessive force
• Thread Quality Check: If the Gewindelehrring cannot be screwed onto the Werkstück's thread, the thread does not meet the required standards (Ausschuss)
• Reference Temperature: A temperature of 20° Celsius is used as the reference for both Werkstücke and Lehren
• On-Demand Calibration Certificate: VÖLKEL, as the manufacturer, can provide a Werkskalibrierschein upon request (price available upon inquiry)
• Independent Laboratory Calibration: The calibration process is carried out in an independent laboratory, following the specified standards and norms (DIN, ISO, ANSI) for the respective item
