The Chinese jacket is one of Porter Classic's signature items. Paraka, which resembles Japanese "Kasuri" fabric, was popular among Japanese immigrants living in Hawaii in the early 20th century. It is faithfully reproduced using the same uneven yarn and uneven dyeing techniques as the original, with research into soft processing.
