PFERD Sanding block disc BW 15020-32 CN 60 Carbide. The disc for double grinding machines of the Carbide version is characterised by a long service life, high dimensional stability and high grinding performance and is used on hard materials, e.g. B. for sharpening carbide tools. Integrated reducing sleeves allow mounting on almost any double bench grinder. // Diameter: 150 mm // Width: 20 mm // Abrasive: Silicon Carbide (CN) // Grit size: 60 // Hardness: J (soft) // Structure density: 7 // Bore diameter: 32 mm // Reducer: 25/20/16 mm // Maximum speed: 4,500 RPM // Matching tool drives: sanding stands // Machinable worksts. Hardened, tempered steels over 1,200 N/mm² (> 38 HRC), steel materials with a hardness > 54 HRC, glass. Processing tasks: deburring, edge processing (chamfering, rounding); sharpening // recommendations for use: the harder the material to be machined, the softer the sanding block disc must be. The softer the material, the harder the grinding wheel can be selected. Regular peeling of the disc releases sharp grain and preserves a straight sanding surface. Constantly adjust the workpiece support to the grinding wheel diameter (gap width max. 3 mm). // Note: If the materials to be processed are very hard, the grinding wheel must be comparatively soft, so that fresh, sharp grain is always used. If this is not the case, there is a risk that the grinding wheels will glaze and lose their aggressiveness, which means that no more adequate removal occurs. The result is an overheating of the workpiece and the sanding block disc.

  • The carbon sanding disc is suitable for use on hard materials and impresses with its long service life, high dimensional stability and high grinding performance
  • When processing very hard materials, e.g. carbide, the soft grinding wheel with hardness J always releases sharp grain and does not glaze
  • The straight grinding wheel can be used for deburring, sharpening and edge processing (chamfering, rounding) of carbide tools
  • Thanks to the integrated reducing sleeves, the ceramic-bound sanding disc can be mounted on almost any sanding bench spindle (32/25/20/16 mm)
  • Box contents: 1 x Pferd grinding disc carbide / with diameter 150 mm and width 20 mm / bore: 32 mm + reducing sleeves / abrasive silicon carbide (CN) / grain size 60 / hardness J soft
