These candle holders were originally on an old piano on either side of where you put your sheet music so you could read the music easier before electricity. They both can swing from side to side so you could bring the light closer to the music if you needed to see better. The back plate that was fastened to the piano has four holes for screws. There are no screws included. They measure 7 1/4” from the backplate to the front. The backplate measures 4 1/2” by 2 5/8”. Lovely pieces of history to add to your home.
