This round shield was used by the Roman army and has been beautifully re-created by Deepeeka. Modeled after its original design, this piece features poplar wood construction with a brass boss and brass edging. It is enhanced by a painted linen covered front. On the reverse side is a wooden bar grip that will ensure easy carrying. With historically authentic design, this shield is great for costumes, re-enactments, and display.
