Lightning X BD44 burn relief dressing is a hydrogel consisting of 95% de-ionized pure water thickened into a high viscosity odorless gel. Our burn dressing gauze pad is a soft, elastic, open-cell flexible foam and can accommodate swelling or the need to flex joints. With its high water content, Lightning X burn gel cools and soothes by absorbing and dissipating heat, which minimizes skin damage. The gel is clear which makes it easy to assess the healing and severeness of the wound. It is non-stick and will not adhere to the burn. A single application of BD44 dressing is effective first-aid on any type of burn injury.
