If you live in an area that receives an excessive amount of snowfall in the winter, you'll appreciate the option of installing a snow load kit in your 8' Lifetime storage shed. These reinforcements will increase the snow load capacity of one roof truss to 30 psf.. Note: the following are the amount of trusses in each of our 8' Shed models so that you will know how many snow load kits you need for your shed: 8 x 5' -- 1 truss, 8 x 7.5 -- 2 trusses, 8 x 10 -- 3 trusses, 8 x 12.5 -- 4 trusses, 8 x 15-55 trusses not compatible with our 8' Garden style sheds (with door in the long side of the shed, it will not fit the middle Truss in the shed)
