This season, the atypical sophie from Hender Scheme features a handbag with cow leather that has been treated with a cracking finish.

Cracking Finish
The cow leather is treated with a cracking finish, which is created by applying a hard pigment to the surface and then dry-firing it to create cracks. This gives it a unique texture.
The base uses nubuck leather, and the leather parts that peek through the cracks will change to an amber color the more you use it, further enhancing the texture.
