Haviland Limoges France Hand Painted Porcelain Bell The Danbury Mint Vintage
This is a lovely Haviland Porcelain, Limoges, France, bell made for the Danbury Mint Bells of the World's Great Porcelain Houses collection.
Its decorative motif, the well-known "Eglantine" pattern, was created a century ago by the famous French artist, Felix Bracquemond. His mastery of the Japanese free-form style of porcelain decoration is evidenced by the graceful, symmetrical arrangement of the hawthorne branch, as well as by the delicacy of the pink blossoms and green leaves. The pattern is complemented by the bell's raised spiral design.
Perfect addition to any bell collection or wonderful host/hostess gift for Thanksgiving or Christmas!
