Hach Chloride Test Kit, Model CD-51, 208601

Found in nearly all natural waters, chloride affects human taste above 250 mg/L. High levels inhibit plant growth, and many industrial processes need to limit chloride concentration. Test kits use either silver or mercuric nitrate titrant. The model CD-DT, a multi-range kit, is supplied with the demineralizer bottle for high-range sample dilution. Model 8-P use drop count titration/Silver nitrate over ranges of 5-100 and 20-400 mg/L. Model CD-51 also uses drop count titration/Silver nitrate with ranges of 500-10,00 and 5,000-100,000 mg/L. Model CD-DT uses Digital Titrator/Mercuric nitrate over a range of 10-8,000 mg/L while Model CDS-DT uses Digital Titrator/Silver nitrate over a range of 10-10,000 mg/L.
