The plates are glued together with 2 types of industrial, water-proof glass glue that hold up to any weather- rain or shine. Lighter plates have a custom gold or white (no ugly black!!) puck that are attached using industrial-strength Marine. For my heavier plates, I bolt screws through the plates and secure them with a specially made high strength steel attachment that is designed to support the weight of the plates.
