This item is offered at a special price because a BIOS password is set.
According to the manufacturer's support, this only prevents BIOS settings (such as changing the clock) from being modified, and does not affect normal use. There is a possibility that settings cannot be changed if the CMOS battery runs out and the clock is incorrect.

There are three types of password locks on Fujitsu products:

① BIOS only locked
② Storage locked
③ PC body locked

This product is in the lightest state, ①.
OS startup, normal use, and clean installation can be performed without any problems.
(Press F12 during startup to enter the Boot selection screen.)
We are also using this model without any problems as an in-house PC.
