Pre-loved. Please note there are several places in the green raised border where there is paint loss, or small chips. (I am showing some of these places in Photos 6, 7, 8) These could be repaired with a small dab of paint. Also, there is crazing on this piece. The crazing is throughout the piece on the front and back. (Showing some of these places in Photos 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13) Crazing is caused by the glaze being under too much tension. This tension occurs when the glaze contracts more than the clay body during cooling. Because glazes are a very thin coating, most will pull apart or craze under very little tension. The stand used in the photos is for display only. Please use the zoom feature on the photos to see the condition of this piece close up. The photos are a big part of the description.
