Product Details
A reproduction of the masterpiece military jacket "N-1" officially adopted by the US Navy!
Carefully reproduced in domestic production, capturing the atmosphere of the original, including the fine-wale cotton pique known as "jungle cloth" and the details of the texture.
The shell, which has been washed for a worn-in look, uses high-density fine-wale cotton pique (commonly known as jungle cloth) to prevent the penetration of cold rain and wind. The cuffs feature inner cuffs with ribbed sections for an improved fit, a drawcord at the hem to adjust the fit, a front wind flap to prevent wind from entering through the zipper elements (teeth), and a boa-lined collar that can be worn standing up. These features are designed to prevent chilling from the cold outside air. The lining is made of boa up to the sleeve ends to prevent body heat from escaping, providing excellent insulation.
Originally developed for work on winter decks and in ports, the cold protection is top-class!
