If any of you remember Henri Bendel in New York City, you know that it’s a co-op of wonderful small batch artist works.This Eugenia Kim headband is no exception Eugenia Kim is world renowned for her high-end hats, she did foray into brass..handmade headbands for a short while and now does mainly Rafia and cloth headbands with knots in them.
As mentioned, she did these rare animal nature themed hand, cast bronze pieces of art that are held onto the band by wire and each animal is punctured and twisted onto the metal base.
They are signed with their Hallmark EK on the inside of the headband.
These pieces of wearable art are extremely rare, and I have not seen another one. This headband happens to be a STARFISH motif.
