The E606 is a long series metric coarse machine tap, for threading in those difficult to reach places where a longer than normal shank is needed. The E606 is made from premium powder metal High Speed cobalt, providing a high level of performance and longer tool life, and manufactured to conform to the International Standardization Organization. With a bright finish preventing workpiece material from sticking to the cutting edge of the tool, you can be confident of a clean and accurate thread. The spiral point means the tools are designed for efficient threading of holes which go all the way through the workpiece material. Available in 11 sizes from M3 to M24, the E606 long series tap can be used to thread a wide variety of materials including steel, stainless steels and aluminium, making it a very versatile choice.
