He was active in the Chinese communities of Southeast Asia from the 1960s to the 1980s, and is a very popular singer, mainly singing in Mandarin (Standard Chinese).

This is a best-of album CD by Huang Qing Yuan, featuring 20 of his famous songs.

This product was issued by Life (樂風) Records, but manufactured in Japan, making it a Japanese-made CD. It is very rare now.

I have taken good care of it, so although there is some yellowing on the jacket, the disc is clean and in good condition.
