The station communicates directly to your Wireless Vantage Pro2 console/receiver over any one of eight user-selectable ID codes, and has a transmitting range of between 200' to 1000' (75 to 300 m) depending upon the environment. The station is solar powered, and includes a battery backup. This Wireless leaf & soil moisture/temperature station comes without any sensors, allowing you to customize the sensors used in correlation with the station.
