CUSTOM METAL Star Wars Double-Double Telescoping Mushroom Tip Saber

This is a copy of a “prototype” early stage Kenner double double telescoping saber that I saw on a website looking at Kenner toy history about 10 years ago. There was small collection of photos I found showing the early saber experimentation and a red double double mushroom tip saber. The prototype didn’t have a working inner saber and I took on the challenge of making this. It isn’t perfection, but it is a functioning double telescoping saber as you can see. Not looking to give it away and if there isn’t much interest, I will hang onto it. I seriously doubt that anybody else would do something so crazy as this. The original prototype casting is a single long saber which is not what Kenner did… the working saber is more true to the appearance, but the raw prototype is the 1st attempt and they go together and they are a gold substitute dental alloy. It is the exact size of the vintage Kenner sabers and will go in a figure.
