The Malpelo is a new 40 liter backpack designed by the Cressi team. It has a double-zip “U” shaped front pocket with a padded compartment for a tablet or large (17”) laptop. Interior zippered mesh compartments provide additional organization. Also included is a vertical-zippered front-facing pocket for any documents that need extra protection. There are small loops stitched to the exterior outer-edge that can be used to latch lighter gear. A zippered elastic side-pockets makes accessing small items easy. There are two carrying handles, one on the top and one on the side, to make carrying easy and comfortable. There are also two shoulder straps, making it possible to wear as back pack. The straps are padded to provide comfort and reduce stress on the shoulders and back. The bag features a fully adjustable/removable sternum strap to help support the load while being worn as a backpack. The Malpelo is designed in Italy by Cressi and made in China.
