Reef Basis Mag React is a supreme quality, magnesium rich carbonate mineral specially selected for for use in calcium and magnesium reactors. It provides a gradual increase in magnesium and carbonate levels to support both magnesium level and buffering in the aquarium. It is free of chloride and sulfate and will not contribute to ionic imbalance in the system. Magnesium plays a crucial role in maintaining calcium solubility and has an limiting effect on calcium precipitation in the aquarium. Mag React provides magnesium in a gentle release over time, allowing for increased stability in both the calcium and magnesium level in the aquarium. Continuum recommends that you maintain a magnesium level of 1,290 to 1,320 ppm in a reef aquarium.
