This essential work, which captures the rich imagery spreading from the keyboard with beautiful melodies and deep resonance across all 13 tracks, is a must-have for understanding Carlos Aguirre's career, who is now at the peak of his musical maturity. Recorded using a Steinway in a theater in Tucumán, northern Argentina, this masterpiece has been the subject of discussion, with some saying that "you can hear the murmuring of the river / the sound of water" when you listen closely.
In the late 2010s, "Caminos" gradually became unavailable, but an import CD was released by Inpartment.
However, after several years of being out of stock, it has now been resurrected as an analog record.
It is thought that the hurdle for re-pressing analog records is higher than that for CDs.
