This is a rare MA-1 flight jacket from the "WILLIAM GIBSON COLLECTION," a collaboration between Buzz Rickson's and William Gibson.

Except for the black body color, it faithfully reproduces the earliest MIL-J-8279 used in the 1950s.
The zippers are made by Crown, and the series is very popular for its high quality, including the luster of the heavy nylon and the matte wool ribs.
It has a very heavy construction.
