Vincent Gallo, known as a musician, painter, actor, and film director, will release his latest musical work, "The Music of Butterfly," on Saturday, January 11, 2025. This work is under the name Butterfly, and Vincent Gallo himself handled everything from production to engineering, mixing, mastering, and graphic design. Butterfly is a musical unit by Vincent Gallo and Harper Simon. Except for "Song No. 5" by Vincent Gallo (track 5), and "Motel Song" and "Empty Glass" by Harper Simon (tracks 3 and 8 respectively), all lyrics, composition, and performance are a collaborative effort by the two, recorded in New York from the winter of 2018 to the spring of 2019.

This work, filled with Vincent Gallo's attention to detail from the sound source to the sound quality and binding, is currently scheduled to be sold only as a 180g heavyweight vinyl record limited to 3000 copies. It employs a pressing process that maximizes sound quality, and the binding is a super high-quality textured gatefold jacket, all assembled by hand.
