The fabric uses Banshu-ori, famous for pre-dyed textiles,
making it slightly thick and highly durable.

Using three types of yarn, the fabric has a vintage feel.

TOP yarn…Normally, dyeing is done after the yarn is made, but this yarn is dyed in the cotton state, making it fluffy and soft. It allows for color unevenness that cannot be expressed with yarn dyeing.

Mura Nep Yarn…This is a yarn that is not straight, but has irregularities in its shape, with large knots of yarn in places.
In this fabric, it is used randomly, so the appearance of the fabric changes depending on the location.

Regular Yarn…Straight yarn. By mixing regular yarn, the uneven yarn is emphasized.

By using these yarns, the ombre pattern expresses a further faded look.
The final processing involves a slight brushing to soften the fabric.
