Arisaka 300 Series Light Body

The Arisaka 300 Series Light Body is designed as a streamlined replacement body for Surefire Scout Light M300 weapon lights. The 300 Series Light Body is manufactured without the mounting interface for the stock Picatinny clamp. This greatly increases the clearance for front sights when used in combination with the Arisaka Inline Scout Mount on handguards with 45 degree mounting surfaces adjacent to the top Picatinny rail. The 300 Series Light Body is compatible with all E1 series and Scout Light M300 series tailcaps and heads like the KM1A, KE1A, and KX1C. It will also fit in any aftermarket Scout mount, as it retains the mounting holes and square lug interface on the underside of the light body. It is also possible to build a complete light from scratch by sourcing additional components. A variety of tailcaps and aftermarket light heads are available from online retailers. Our favorite light head to pair with the 300 Series Light Body is the Malkoff E1/Scout, which is compact and made in the USA. Weight: 0.6 oz The light body is CNC machined from 6061 aluminum and type III hard coat anodized. High quality Buna-N O-rings are included. Product does not include light head, tail cap, or mounting screws. Refinishing warning: If you Cerakote a 300 Series Light Body the threaded ends must be masked off. If you Cerakote over the ends the body will no longer be able to conduct electricity and the light will not turn on. Firearms or other accessories shown in above product photos are not included.
