Description: Truly beautiful antique Minneapolis brass wind-up thermostat from 1918. This is a heavy, high-quality piece that weighs over 2.5 pounds. It was originally used in my parents house as a decoration and was kept in a climate-controlled room, so it is in much better shape than most you find.
The brass has a nice vintage patina but no dents or damage. The glass thermometer on the front is perfect. You can unscrew the front to see the clockwork inside, and all the parts are moving freely. It can be hung on a wall or sat on a shelf for a great industrial/vintage look. Sold as is.
Size: 8 inches long.
