Antique 1865 Haviland & Co Limoges Porcelain Handled Vase Floral Gold Gilt H&Co


This is an antique vase made by Haviland & Company (H & Co.). It’s hard to tell the exact age, but based on the makers mark on the bottom, this victorian-style vase was made circa 1865 in Limoges. Limoges is a city that is known decorated porcelain. This vase is decorated with hand-painted purple bell flowers, a pink band that wraps around, & gold gilt. It has 2 handles. The makers mark says H & Co & it’s impressed. There is another mark, which I believe is the artists initials, that reads AC or AL (it's hard to tell) that is incised. There is a V marking that is incised as well.


CONDITION: This Antique Haviland & Company Limoges Porcelain Vase is in great shape for its age. This floral vase is approx 157 years old. No chips or cracks. The gold gilt is so wearing off some. There are some slight marks on the inside bottom (PLEASE SEE PHOTOS).
