Chrome-plated chrome molybdenum probes are more rust-resistant than regular probes. Probes have 7/8” outside diameter and heat-treated, wear-resistant bit. Swedged on the bit end and bored to 11/16” diameter – providing ideal clearance for easy sample removal. Nine inch cross handle threads onto each probe. 33” soil probes retrieve 13”L core sample. May be used with AMS extensions or hammer attachment.
