Published by Tudor, New York in 1947, this is a second printing, the first was published in 1937. It has detailed illustrations. Excellent photos, descriptions, makers information and dates. A wonderful educational tool for any pottery artist. This book is in very good condition, binding is excellent, no issues, tears, missing or folded pages or marks of any kind. The buyer of this book will be the second owner. My aunt studied American Potters and Pottery as part of her job as a jeweler in the 30's-70's. Back in the day you had to know what was being sold in your store, where it came from and its history. This is one of her many reference books.
