A 1974 work. Henry Franklin, an amazing bassist who represents the label and has also participated in works by Gene Russell and Doug Carn. This work is particularly highly regarded among his many masterpieces. Many DJs played this during the 90s acid jazz boom. Once you listen to "Blue Lights" at the beginning, with its addictive dope bass, funky guitar, and pleasant electric piano and powerful sax creating chaos, you'll understand the appeal of this work. A2 features an unsettling waltz, a cover of Chick Corea, and B2 features each instrument running wild with the bass leading the way. A masterpiece containing sampling sources and club jazz classics.
